Loveland, CO Goes Live On Innoprise Financials

BROOMFIELD, CO - December 6, 2011:  Harris Enterprise Resource Planning (Harris ERP),today announced that the City of Loveland, Colorado, has gone live on the Innoprise Financials Suite of software. The new financial software replaces a legacy system that had been in place for 24 years. Loveland is located approximately 55 miles north of Denver and the City provides a variety of municipal services to its 61,400 citizens. 

Key business drivers for Loveland to replace their green screen financial software were desire for a more intuitive user interface, cumbersome end user reporting and lack of integration between financial modules. A lack of software enhancements in recent years and the cost effectiveness of Loveland's annual maintenance and support funding prompted IT to evaluate their current financial application. "Loveland selected Innoprise Financials as a cost effective alternative that allowed us to move to newer technology," said Bill Westbrook, IT Director for the City.

The Innoprise Financial Suite of Software was appealing to the City because of the intuitive web browser interface, the ability for users to open multiple tabs and windows, easy navigation from primary data to related data, immediacy of data for reporting and electronic workflow management. Information within the Innoprise Financial Suite can be accessed easily with the Selector tool as well as the ability to extract - particularly to Excel. "Other significant enhancements for our financial users are the ability to import data using excel spreadsheets as input and the attachment feature that enables electronic processing and reduction of paper flow requirements," said Westbrook. "All of these features make the software more user friendly and helps put current data in the hands of the users faster than before for end user inquiry and reporting," added Westbrook.
